Effective Date: October 14, 2026. Official Terms & Conditions for DAVES IMPORT AUTO SERVICE (dba Dave's Auto Center).
1. Business Authorization & Services
By authorizing vehicle service or repair work with DAVES IMPORT AUTO SERVICE (operating as Dave's Auto Center), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. All service estimates, diagnosis reports, and repair orders are performed by our ASE-certified technicians.
2. Estimates & Repair Authorizations
All repairs require customer authorization before work commences. Verbal or written approvals obtained via phone (+1 937-907-1715) or email (miles@davesautoutah.com) constitute legal consent to perform specified repair services.
3. Payment Terms & Vehicle Storage
Payment in full is required prior to vehicle release upon completion of repair work. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, cash, and approved financing programs. Vehicles left unclaimed for more than 5 business days after notice of completion may be subject to daily storage fees as permitted by Utah state law.
4. Warranty Coverage & Limitations
Repairs performed by DAVES IMPORT AUTO SERVICE are backed by our limited nationwide warranty on qualifying parts and labor. Warranty terms apply to normal vehicle usage and exclude damage resulting from racing, improper vehicle operation, lack of maintenance, or third-party modifications.
5. SMS / Text Messaging Terms & Consent (A2P 10DLC)
By providing your mobile phone number to DAVES IMPORT AUTO SERVICE — whether verbally, via phone call to +1 937-907-1715, via email to miles@davesautoutah.com, or through any written authorization — you agree to the following SMS Terms of Service and provide your prior express written consent to receive recurring SMS/text message communications from us:
Mobile Information Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
5.1 Opt-In Consent
By providing your mobile number, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated SMS/text messages from DAVES IMPORT AUTO SERVICE related to service appointments, repair status updates, vehicle readiness notifications, invoice reminders, and other transactional communications pertaining to your repair orders. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service.
5.2 Message Frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your service activity. Typically, you will receive 1–5 messages per service event. You will not receive more than 6 messages per month unless there is an active service requiring additional communication.
5.3 Opt-Out (STOP)
You may opt out and cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any text message from DAVES IMPORT AUTO SERVICE. Upon receiving your STOP request, we will immediately cease sending further SMS messages to your mobile number. You may be required to re-opt-in if you wish to resume receiving SMS communications in the future.

5.5 Message & Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan and messaging allowance. DAVES IMPORT AUTO SERVICE is not responsible for any message or data charges imposed by your mobile carrier. Check with your carrier for details on your specific messaging plan.
5.6 Carrier Disclaimer
DAVES IMPORT AUTO SERVICE is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS delivery is subject to carrier network availability and is not guaranteed. Participating carriers do not guarantee message delivery and may temporarily block messages for spam filtering, network issues, or other operational reasons. Carriers supported include but are not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, US Cellular, and other major U.S. wireless carriers.
5.7 TCPA Compliance
All SMS communications sent by DAVES IMPORT AUTO SERVICE comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), 47 U.S.C. § 227, and all applicable Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rules and regulations. We do not send SMS messages without your prior express written consent, and we honor all opt-out requests immediately.
5.8 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to opt in to and use our SMS service. By opting in, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
6. Email Communications Consent
By providing your email address to DAVES IMPORT AUTO SERVICE, you consent to receive transactional and operational email communications regarding your service appointments, repair quotes, invoices, and vehicle status. You may unsubscribe from non-essential email communications at any time by replying to any email with "UNSUBSCRIBE" or by contacting us at miles@davesautoutah.com.
7. Limitation of Liability
DAVES IMPORT AUTO SERVICE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our SMS service or any failure or delay in message delivery. Our total liability for any claim arising from repair services or communications shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
8. Changes to Terms
DAVES IMPORT AUTO SERVICE reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date." Continued use of our services or continued consent to receive SMS communications after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing Law & Business Contact
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
